Where Media Meets Community *

I’m Everett Christiansen, a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a minor in Sociology. My work focuses on helping businesses, organizations, and individuals tell their stories through photography, videography, content creation, and social media management. Through collaborations with nonprofits, small businesses, and community organizations, I’ve developed a passion for creating impactful visual content that connects brands with their audiences.

Leadership, teamwork, and creativity have been central to my personal and professional growth. As a former collegiate athlete at Covenant College and captain of the UTC cheerleading team, I developed strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills that continue to shape my approach to every project and client relationship.

Originally from Lookout Mountain, Georgia, I’m passionate about serving my community, capturing meaningful moments, and helping others share their stories. Whether I’m producing promotional content, documenting special events, or developing creative marketing strategies, my goal is to deliver authentic, high-quality work that makes a lasting impact.

This collection features photographs created during my time working with the Chattanooga Lookouts at Erlanger Park. The images capture game-day action, fan engagement, and behind-the-scenes moments, highlighting the energy and culture of professional baseball while documenting my experience as a sports photographer and visual storyteller.

This multimedia photo essay was produced as part of a photojournalism course at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The project combines a series of still photographs with audio from an interview with Magic, creating a narrative that emphasizes authentic storytelling, visual communication, and human connection.

Rising Rock is a documentary-style profile produced for a Documentary News course at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The film focuses on Edward Yates, exploring his involvement in climbing, route development, music, and highlining. Through interviews and visual storytelling, the project highlights the connection between passion, identity, and community within Chattanooga's outdoor culture.

In 2020, I served as the lead student for Dade County High School’s entry in the Georgia School Board Association video contest, where our team placed 4th out of 51 submissions. I contributed both as director and voice-over talent, collaborating with scriptwriter Josee Biddle, DCHS students and staff, and Dr. Jan Harris on cinematography. This experience strengthened my leadership, storytelling, and production skills, while showing my ability to guide a team and deliver a recognized, award-winning project.
